'Key Account
Customers Assess Submetering'-An RKS Issues & Insights Special
Report

At A
Glance: As large enterprises try to drive down costs
and improve their competitiveness through aggressive energy
management, submetering technologies assume a larger role. This
special mini-survey includes the results of telephone interviews
with 50 energy decision-makers representing large, multi-site U.S.
businesses. Companies that have adopted submetering programs are
highly satisfied with their experience, while business customers
that have not yet embarked on this option remain positive and expect
to do so in the future. Both segments plan to turn to electrical
contractors or consultants-not their local utility-to install and
support their submetering systems.
